Dexter Gordon's work with Blue Note is fairly consistent. Again he doesn't disappoint, backed by the same group who had recorded the album "Go" two days earlier. Stylistically just a little more expansive than the previous album, Sonny Clark is great as usual, and the rhythm section sounds a little tighter. This album probably edges it for me, his best with Blue Note up to this point.
