The members of SILKWORM have gotten together with former worm Joel R.L. Phelps.

'Silkworm was originally formed back in 1987 out of the ashes of Ein Heit, a band fronted by the friendly fascist J.K. Manlove. This recording reunited the present Silkworm with Joel Phelps.'

Musically the album sways nicely from thumping rockers to trumpet blowing revolutionary odes and choral nuisances. Joel gets back on track singing "Lonesome Heart" while Tim Midget strums his acoustic guitar just like the old days strumming in alley ways and gas station bathrooms from montana to california... it's an angry sad record that cuts like a knife and carries with it a reserve that hath no fury except that of angular guitars and the trademark drum beat of Michael Dahlquist. Makes you wonder why Joel left the band to begin with. The Stones cover of "Winter" is pretty good. One thing is for sure, Joel Phelps' guitar solos are sorely missed and it's nice to hear them rip on songs like "Before" "No Revolution" and "Without Warning" once again backed by the original line-up.
