Sound is amazing. If you can get this under $100, definitely spring for it. Dead quiet. Awesome score.
One of the most epic items in my collection. With a jacket made of metal and minimalist silhuett artwork this release of the soundtrack is the absolute holy grail. Mondo have really put effort in not just the packaging but the music likewise. Nearly devoid of pops and minimal surface noise that is fairly low but detectable if you really listen at quiet passages. The bass is powerful and the intensity in the instruments such as trumpets cut through you like a knife. Both low and high end are distinct but could use more dynamics between them. The mid range is not used very much and temds to lean to the low end instead. A good mastering still. Which really is what a soundtrack of this caliber deserves. My main complaint besides that is the surface noise as mentioned. GZ is rarely the best choice for pressing but its tolerable. As a whole this is a glorious release that any fan will adore.
